GO BUCKEYES!
Many of you may wonder why we work so hard to sell the raffle tickets and where all of that money goes.
Your Club has one of the largest endowed alumni club scholarship funds outside of the State of Ohio. We are
currently assisting four local students who are attending Ohio State. The money you pay out for raffle tickets
goes to the scholarship fund, after we pay for the items given away. Many of the items are donated by
members as their contribution to the fund. How else can you donate to the Scholarship Fund?
★ Why not donate a minimum of $45, and get a shirt with the Club’s Alumni Logo?
★ Participate in the BUCK-A-YEAR for the Buckeyes program. Each year donate an amount of money
equal to your age.
★ Participate in the Golf Tournament in the spring.
★ Make a donation when you pay your dues. By paying dues you give us the money to cover mailings and
to acquire raffle prizes.
The Scholarship Fund is maintained by the Ohio State Development Office, but decisions regarding who gets the
funds and how much are made locally based on the annual earnings from our fund. So give often and help local
kids attend The Ohio State University.
